Familias de Colores does with the whole family what your school does with each child during the day: it nurtures the senses. It doesn't replace anything your school already does. It carries it into the home, through a tool, play, that grown-ups can take part in without feeling like they're back in school.

What's a school gathering like?
It's not a workshop. It's not a class. It's something you feel in your body.
Over about two hours, whole families travel through the seven colors of the rainbow together. They play, move, listen to a story told live, and experience color as something lived, not a concept. Every age gets what it needs, and the gathering breathes: it moves between activity and calm like a single breath.
Each gathering welcomes 6 to 10 families. The facilitator brings all the materials.

Open community gathering
For every family in the school, in a single session open to all grades. A great way to begin a longer journey with your families.
Grade-level gathering
For the families of one class. It helps the group bond and can support families through the tougher moments of the school year.
Family Day
For lots of families at once: everyone travels through the seven colors together and the whole event turns into a rainbow. Perfect for an end-of-year celebration, an opening, or a school-wide event.
Familias de Colores in Waldorf kindergartens
Where the game was born, and where it keeps growing.
The game draws on Goethe's theory of color, the four temperaments and the cultivation of the twelve senses. That's why it feels right at home in Waldorf kindergartens: it has held gatherings with the families of Jardín Infantil y Centro Cultural El Nido in El Carmen de Viboral, and in November 2026 it's closing out the school year with Jardín Waldorf El Espiral, in La Estrella and at its Llanogrande campus (Rionegro), and with Jardín Waldorf Micaela in El Carmen de Viboral. But it isn't just for Waldorf schools: it works in any school that wants its families to play together again.
