Why a circle for adults?

We don't need more workshops. We need a threshold.

Our calendars have filled up with tasks, goals and to-do lists. What used to be time with ourselves (silence, play, wonder) now feels like time wasted. We reach the end of the day without having really been anywhere at all.

Play became something for kids. But really playing, without having to get it right or play a part, is one of the few doors still open to what we feel and don't let ourselves feel.

What's the Circle for Adults like?

The guide isn't the center. The light is.

A group of adults, people who come on their own or with someone, travels through the seven colors of the rainbow together. Each card brings its own piece of advice and its own question, which isn't answered out loud: you carry it in silence, like an ember. Here the game meets the work of the four temperaments and a look at your own path.

It's a salutogenic game: instead of looking for what's wrong with us, it nurtures what keeps us well. The senses can wither, and they can also be cultivated.

There's no right or wrong here. You just live it. Nobody has to open up: if you hesitate, you can pass without sharing, and that's okay too.

Open circles last a morning, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with room for up to 12 people. We also run private circles for groups that already know each other: a community, a group of friends, or a personal growth circle.

What each person takes home

They come home to themselves as they play.

A deep experience of play, without the pressure to "get it right."
Personal oracle cards: after each color, everyone can draw one and keep it.
A name of your own within the game, given to you by the game, that stays with you in future gatherings.
A promise you can keep before the next circle.
A kernel of corn, as a seed of what you lived.

FAQ

Do I need to come with someone?

No. You sign up individually for open circles, so nobody needs to bring anyone.

Do I have to talk about my personal life?

No. The questions are carried in silence and nobody has to open up. Everyone shares only what they want to.

What does the game do for people?

It's a salutogenic game: instead of looking for what's wrong, it nurtures what keeps us well, like the senses, rhythm, silence and connecting with others. It grows out of anthroposophic art therapy, and you feel its effect in your body and your mood. If you're in therapy, the circle can go alongside it; it doesn't replace it.

What language is it in?

Open circles are in Spanish. We can also run circles in English for groups who ask.

Can you run a private circle for our group?

Yes. We run private circles for groups that already know each other, in Bogotá, in Antioquia, or wherever we're invited.
