People from different countries around the world sat down in a circle, and even though each of them brought their own language, we all spoke just one: the language of play and presence. On the wooden floor, surrounded by colored fabric, with the board in the middle and the veils slowly settling over our shoulders, nobody needed a translation to recognize each other.

A circle of young adults in Bogotá where magical things happened, the kind that only happen in the space the game opens up: a place where one person dares to show themselves and another dares to truly look. By the end, everyone was wrapped in their veil, together beneath the colored star.

A circle of health professionals from many fields: dentists, doctors, oncologists, therapists and eurythmists. People who spend their days caring for others sat down for a few hours and let the game care for them. They took off their white coats without taking them off, recognized themselves in the colors, and played, and it was beautiful. Thank you to Narabema, a highly respected name in Colombia, and to its director, Jorge Vega, for opening the door to this gathering.

A parent workshop full of laughter. The kids kept coming up to the board to move the pieces and, little by little, the grown-ups forgot about teaching: they remembered what it's like to really play, without having to explain anything. By the end, they were wearing the colors too.

The new school term began with a wonderful gathering: every age together in a bamboo gazebo in the middle of the forest. Nature held us, and in the game we recognized the colors that live in Mother Earth: the green of the hills, the yellow of the light, the blue of the sky between the leaves. The kids played on their knees around the board, and the gathering ended with the whole group dressed in color.

More than fifty families decided to play. It was the very first gathering, the first time the game was truly played: outdoors, on a mountain farm, in a circle on the grass, with the fire and the color wheel in the center, and kids, grandparents and even dogs stretched out all around. Parents and children created a one-of-a-kind moment together, the kind that stays in a child's heart.
